Lósti

I climbed your peaks
To steep myself in the arching beauty
The sins of lovers and prayers of saints
Fall upon you like rain
You push from the heart of the world
Drowning their inhibition
Tempting the very heights
Your temples reflecting the lip of heaven

I went to your well
To ponder the mystery of your fullness
The depth and breadth of all mankind
Worship at your silky curtain
You rumble from the heart of the world
Laying waste to the feeble
Daring the swans to dive
Your nectar reflecting the lip of heaven

I called your name, Lósti
To hear the echo of your swollen desires
The wandering wishes of pilgrims
Rest in your silence
You roar from the heart of the world
Washing the wings of eagles
Signaling the end of time
Your words reflecting the lip of heaven
