I'm stepping outside

Amid the mumbled assents
And the knowing nods
I've lost my way

I'm stepping outside

I can feel the air
Embracing a lost friend
Hear the birds
Singing familiar songs
Absorb the sun
Shining for me once again

Tomorrow will always come
But yesterday is mine

Outside the now
